CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Master DJing and Music Production in 8 Weeks

This course is designed to take you from complete beginner to advanced DJ and producer with one comprehensive, all-in-one program.
Over 8 weeks, you’ll build a strong foundation and progress into the higher-level skills required to perform confidently at clubs, festivals, private events, and beyond. On the DJ side, you’ll learn everything from core mixing fundamentals to advanced cueing, quick mixing, wordplay, microphone techniques, music library organization, branding, and marketing.
On the production side, you’ll create your own original tracks from start to finish using Ableton Live. You’ll develop a solid understanding of composition, MIDI, mixing and mastering, automation, compression, and all the tools needed to produce professional-quality music that’s ready for any crowd.
To help launch your career, you’ll also receive a guaranteed live DJ booking at one of our partner venues, giving you real-world experience performing in front of an audience.
The course includes an Ableton Live Lite license so you can start producing immediately.

As a DJ, he has made a name for himself in Miami’s vibrant music scene, captivating audiences with dynamic sets and a deep understanding of musical energy. With over 600 shows worldwide, Oscar Troya is one of Ecuador’s most iconic DJs. He became a resident DJ at his country’s top club at just 15, and today, his high-energy sets and powerful audiovisual shows continue to captivate audiences across the globe.
His music regularly tops national radio charts and is featured on major streaming platforms. He’s produced remixes for Warner Music and Universal Music Group, and his track "Shapes" was named Track of the Week by Spinnin’ Records, featured on Spinnin’ Sessions 146.
In 2016, Oscar launched Overdrive, his weekly radio show on Alfa Radio FM, reaching EDM fans in over seven cities.
